Invasive species are those which are not native AND thrive in our climate at the expense of native species. They don't provide any benefits and aren't considered nutritional food or shelter for our wildlife. They consume resources faster and overtake available space. Because they are not native, few animals utilize them and they don't have any natural enemies.
